We got to meet Cinderella and Mickey and Minnie Mouse so that was cool. We started out at Magic Kingdom, we saw Main Street USA, rode on the Walt Disney Railroad, and went to Splash Mountain., the log ride was the biggest thrill. Mom wants to see Mickey Mouse and my Dad is more interested in Epcot Centre but we aren’t doing that until tomorrow. My other sisters are all about the rides. All my little sister could talk about on the way there was seeing Cinderella, her castle and the other princesses. Everyone was up early, we had breakfast in our room and were off to the shuttle actually early. We were so excited to come and now our trip is near the end. We grabbed an ice cream before we walked back to where we would catch our shuttle and just looked at everything as we went. There is so much to see and do but we think we did as much as we could. It was the best way to end our time at Disney World.

The last thing we did before we left was IllumiNations, Reflections of Earth, the best fireworks I have ever seen. We went to Honey, I Shrunk the Audience which is a 3-D show. You lift off and look down at some beautiful landscapes, snow covered mountains and then beaches and brings you back over Main street USA and the castle and fantastic fireworks.

We watched a movie about China, and France had lunch in Italy. We did the World Showcase and took the River of Time boat ride through Mexico and a Boat voyage through Norway. It is bumpy and has really cool turns, you speed through freezing cold chambers, and you go 60 miles an hour. Then we went to the Test track, this is where you get to test drive a car, it is a roller coaster that is the fastest and longest in Disney World. It was really cool to be able to feel like an astronaut. Nobody wanted to deal with motion sickness all day. We went to Mission Space and my Dad and older sisters went into the less intense training. The whole area is so impressive it was hard to decide where to start first. So we caught the shuttle and began our day. Michele has 6535 posts and counting. We were a little groggy getting up this morning but very excited. ~ I enjoy writing personal perspective blogs, doing TMSM Meet Ups for our readers, and keeping the constant interaction going with others, sharing the Disney Magic to people when they can’t be at their Happy Place. Also, Michele is making it a priority to share stories of inspiration and hope to other Disney Fans in an effort to share the Magic and hopefully make a difference in the lives of others. Part of the goal Michele has for The Main Street Mouse is not only to keep members informed, but to create somewhat of a Disney Family by relating to others through personal experiences and opinions. Michele is a life long Disney fan, and has two sons who have followed suit, each going on their first Disney trip before their first birthday’s. She and her family made the move from Michigan to the Orlando area to pursue their Disney dreams. Michele Atwood is the Owner/Editor of The Main Street Mouse and it’s subsidiaries and author of the books “Moving to Main Street U.S.A.” “How Many Sleeps Till Disney?” and “How Many Sleeps Till Disneyland?” Michele also contributes Disney news to the Joe Kelley Morning Show on 107.3 WDBO in Orlando. The only reason I even got into photography is because I won a Nikon DSLR in a work raffle and since I couldn’t sell it, I ended up keeping it and learning how to take pictures with it. (I was also a balloon vendor on Main Street USA for a short time!) Photography is actually a relatively new hobby. I worked for Disney for nearly five years starting in Food & Beverage, then Entertainment, and finally in Frontierland Attractions. “I am a former Walt Disney World Cast Member. Here’s a bit about Andy, straight from the source: Andre (Andy) Sanchez is now TMSM’s official WDW Photographer! His talent and magical skills are a welcome addition to our staff.
